Glyether' Product EJ-190 epoxy resin is an aliphatic multifunctional epoxy resin. EJ-190 epoxy resin will impact both higher reactivity and crosslink density to epoxy resin formulations.
Polyglycidyl ether EJ-190 epoxy resin is used to modify standard epoxy resin formulations to improve flexibility. This resin is compatible with both Bisphenol-A and other epoxy resins, adding flexibility, better impact and improved elongation to end products. This epoxy resin functionality permits them to cross-link with hardeners and become part of the cured system. Additionally, EJ-190 can be used to crosslink acid functional polyurethane and acrylic resins for improved chemical resistance in light stable coatings. EJ-190 is ideal for adhesives, laminate, water soluble additives and wet lay-up applications. EJ-190 resin can be cured with various hardeners through the epoxide groups. Resulting in highly cross-linked thermoset polymers having good mechanical properties, good resistance to chemical and solvent resistance.
